I can see why they had Bono cover I Am The Walrus in Across the Universe If someone put this on in the car I wouldn't mind it playing ambiently in the background, I can see the vision but I'm probably directing my eyes elsewhere first

I definitely would have gone craaaazy for this album if I'd heard it for the first time in 2000, which is not to say I'm not loving it now, I just know my 9 year old self would have been foaming at the mouth for this sound Ultimately a very beautiful album and by the end of it Bye had me weeping at my desk

Once I shook the etch-o-sketch my assumptions and expectations of what Peter Gabriel's music sounded like lived on to reset it I really started to enjoy it beyond my familiarity of Solsbury Hill. What a fun weird little guy
