Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Aug 21 2025

I enjoyed it overall! Had some very nice upbeat 60s rock feel. I'd say it's a bit more mellow than something I would normally listen to but I'm glad I gave it a listen. It had some sounds in it that reminded me of the Rolling Stones. I found that the last track "Broken Arrow" was a bit all over the place, but otherwise I enjoyed most of the other tracks.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Aug 22 2025

was enjoyable. Very viby and had some killer guitar and drums

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Aug 25 2025

These guys still rock. Glad it wasnt Seven Nation Army

Aug 26 2025

Finally sat down and listened to Bob Dylan thanks to this. Was definitely worth a listen. I understand why he was so influential considering this is just one of his many popular albums. Added it to my saved albums to listen to again!

Pretenders by Pretenders
Aug 27 2025

Today just not feeling these guys as much. I think they very much sound like a band from the 70s/80s and sometimes those hit for me sometimes they don't. I still have tracks 9-12 left to listen to. Finished listening to it and I think it was pretty middle of the road. I can see how people really like these guys but they weren't for me and that's ok. If I were to change something I would have just wanted things to be more up-tempo.

My Generation by The Who
Aug 28 2025

Already listened to this album a bunch growing up. No surprise it's on the list. I remember being a kid and being really annoyed about the stuttering in "My Generation" but funny enough I really liked it today. And that's growth.

I actually listened to this album a good amount in middle school. Still hits hard.

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Aug 30 2025

Back to back bangers with the Hives yesterday and Miles Davis today.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Aug 31 2025

Haven't heard of these guys before and they were great!

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Sep 04 2025

Love this album. Probably one of if not my favorite Stones album. Very chill and consistent. Great ride.

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Sep 06 2025

I dont usually listen to psych rock but this was pretty sick. I was pretty surprised this came out in the mid/late-90s because it feels like such an older genre. Would actually listen to some of these songs again.

E.V.O.L. by Sonic Youth
Sep 09 2025

I do not fuck with Sonic Youth

Sep 10 2025

Very much 70/80s punk. Props to them for the bands they inspired. This is not for me though. Was a ride but not an exciting one.
