Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Aug 23 2025

Super organized experimental album, interesting sound choices and overall tone, mostly in a positive way. Extremely repetitive when it comes to individual tracks, where the tracks do not really have any development other than repetition, otherwise added noise or variation of the same sound in a different noise field. Solid tracks: On Fire, Crown of Storms and Duel in the Deep. Overall not worth a replay, aside from the mentioned tracks.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Aug 24 2025

Excellent tone, iconic for the time period and the scene. Some tracks have an odd combination of choruses and bridges, that do not feel like they should bend together or need a slighter slide into each other. Some really great riffs, excellent vocals, and at best mediocre lyrics. Absolute Bangers: Take me Out, Michael, 40' Great Ones: Jacqueline, This Fire, Auf Achse, Come on Home Solid: The Dark of Matinee, Cheating on You, Darts of Pleasure Absolute recommendation, overall not required to be played as whole, a bunch of quality individual tracks.
