Not a huge S.D. fan
Seminal
Seminal work; all timer. Standout: title track
Beautiful
Cathartic
VERY intense
Classic, catchy, and introspective. R.E.M. maintains themselves as an al time band representing the zeitgeist of a generation
Not my kind of music but it wasn't bad at all
Hated this album until I reached 'dry your tears'. I still am not a fan but i realize it's elevated beyond its contemporaries and should be regarded as highly as it is despite my personal view. The final track elevates it even further and holds a message that should resonate easily with the listener.
Very enjoyable but due to the recording capabilities in that day and age, there were voices from the crowd that were audible throughout several cuts. Not a deal breaker but it dampened an otherwise great performance by the first female rock star: Janis Joplin. I'll probably revisit this one and keep an eye out for it when next I go crate digging!
Very chill. Went straight into my daily playlist. Unfortunately, it also didn't push the medium, and if I didn't personally have a taste for this style of music, I would probably consider it pedestrian and forgettable.
Fugazi’s been a favorite of mine since high school. Any fugazi is good fugazi
Cracked
Such a classic, filled to the brim with sophistication and consciousness.
Surprisingly tame and enjoyable. Probably going to return to this one later
