1001 Albums Summary

The usual R.E.M. whining. Nothing special apart from Pop Song 89 (oh, the irony) and Orange Crush. I could definitely die without hearing this first.

The flow is nice but not exactly my style. The best tracks were the ones featuring Kanye. All in all, a decent album.

Apparently it's supposed to be a nice folk album from before the guy went insane with his Islam ramblings. However, I'm not into folk, so apart from the Wild World there's really nothing to look forward to.

Ain't that fresh. From the get-go you feel like it's going to be a quality work, and it doesn't disappoint. The vibes, the artistry, the music, the lyrics. My first time hearing about this guy, and what a beautiful debut, even though it's almost fifty years old!

Well, Queen is Queen. Remarkable and legendary. It's just that I have not ever really been into that style, so I can't appreciate anything but Killer Queen much.

Raging against everything on sight is only fine for teenagers.

For some reason this one took me a long time to crack but goes surprisingly comfortable today for a 55 year old record.

This one is from my collection, so I'm biased. Sounds as fresh as it was.

Maybe it's seminal if you're a music pundit but to me it was just torture. Thankfully, not a very long one.
