1001 Albums Summary

Keyboard sounds great on this Ironically the more psychedelic sounding songs were the ones I liked the least, maybe I shouldve dropped some acid beforehand and it would've clicked a bit more Definitely appreciate the folkiness of the album though

Objectively really good, but it just doesn't do it for me unfortunately

Really like the instrumentation, but i truly could not vibe with the vocals 😔

First album i tested my new car subwoofer with; uses low frequencies so well, really making them one of the main musical elements rather than just an afterthought

Not a fan. I actually did like a lot of songs at the very beginning, and then ol' Adam came along and ruined the whole vibe Killer in the Home probably the best song, but still gets pretty grating by the end

Super wide range of cultural influences gives this a fairly unique sound, particularly towards the end of the album

Chuck D has the all time best voice in hip hop, no question. Some all-timer hip hop tracks on this, even the instrumentals (particularly the opener) are great. Probably leans closer to a 4.5/5, so rounds up to a 5/5

Nice vibe, hadn't heard any songs of this before but did enjoy a couple, what I've heard of their other albums makes me think those might be better though
