He is a brilliant lyricist but this album fell flat for me - the juxtaposition of the roadhouse and his voice was not harmonious. Didn't feel anything through the middle, last three songs were good. Particularly i know it's gonna happen someday.

I love it. Love the integration. Of irish traditional, folk, punk elements. It is harmonious. If I should fall from grace with God, fairytale of new york are standouts, especially fairytale and the a side and everything on the b side.
