Pretty dang good 80s thing
This was great. Big sucka for funk-story-album-with-meaningful-life-messages. Deep love for all the tracks I already heard, never listened to the album.
very much right on its way to 90s pop, but some cooler, cutting edgier stuff in there. An enjoyable listen.
I found that I could sing every song on this album except two. what a banger!
This album was super great. Was not sure what to expect. very cool grooves and soundscapes. Actually a pretty big fan.
I'd never listened to this album. Some basic tracks, some iconic tracks -- some real sick ones. A real treasure.
I love this album. Such a gem of the 90s
this album is all hunky dory
first go around I was like.. no. and stopped listening. then came back to it today and I really like it. Got some psych rock, punk, pop, bowie-y. it's a bit of a jam. :)
the original mathrock (I'm assuming :P) -- I haven't listened to this since I was a child definitely sent me back in time. I love acid jazz as much as the next person, which is to say, it's really hit or miss. haha. I'm ready for some zappa. :D
they are the sultans of swing, but I like this album considerably less than brothers in arms
Not my favorite temps album, but definitely a few bangers in there: papa, and the first i ever saw ya
mambo gozón is a banger, and the album is great but it also makes me want to listen to juan garcia esquivel (I hope we get one of his albums later)
very cool. I think I might be a dnb guy maybe?
album starts very mid. kind of evolves into something a bit more what I was expecting from the cure by the second half and honestly saved it from a 1-2 score.
let's set the night on fire. I do love this album. the end was a weirdly meaningful song of my childhood.
I liked this album a lot. Some real processing that I think was authentic. I'm also assuming that at this time, missy making an album like this was impossibly difficult. Musically it's a three -- a few sick beats, but mostly the sound of the times. Message wise a four.
I want you to want me feels out of place- many bangers here. Some classic buttrock
a gem-- sick beats and some real ass shit.
album cover 10/5 haha (makes me think of spinal tap) some good stuff in here, but not my fav rolling stones.
Zombie and Mr follow follow are two of my fav tracks. Didn't know the other two so well. Fela is heroic in his effort and work and left huge impact on so many artists and the african diaspora. rip.
mumbly whiteguy rock. it's fine.
I wanted to like this album more than I did.
woof. musically it's pretty good / alright / of the grunge era, but man I can't get over the incredibly out of tune self-involved sing-talking about having a dick for a brain. the cover is cool though.
Kanye west is good at music
with or without you gives deep aldous snow vibes was not expecting the grunge tracks this album is up there in terms of the very competitive 'bunchofwhiteguys rock' scene.
Definitely enjoyed. cover is definitely cool. :D Easy listenin'
buttrock. this is good stuff. was not expecting the grooves that they get into in this album. also reminds me of the uniracers soundtrack not my absolute favorite, but some good jams
this was a badass album. I liked it.
