Blue Eyes Cryin in the Rain, Denver, Fantastic

One of those albums that I probably should have listened to start to finish a long time ago. Glad I have corrected that mistake.

It’s U2. But pretty good U2. I’m sure at the time this came out it was groundbreaking. A fine listen, not off putting, but won’t seek it out.

Nothing not to like here. Unlike my standup set at the Apollo.

I'm hesitant to give 5 stars. It can feel like you're supposed to just based off the name and how we know this person's place in history. But this is a fantastic album! There is a reason Aretha can go by one name, and this is it. Her voice really is that pure, sweet cream butter. Bonus points to the amazing bass lines!
