Very solid Bowie album, hear some early musical experimentation that sounds like his final album, Blackstar. Like all Bowie albums, I don’t think the first listen through will give me the greatest appreciation, so forgive my possibly low rating

The first few tracks were bops but I didn’t really jive with the rest. It’s really clear where Geese is getting their sound frlm

Ballads on these were pretty great and I imagine back in the 50s this went extremely hard. However, everything that followed this in rock was a lot cooler imo

Don’t need to listen again, this is a perfect album

Never heard of him before but I love this type of country music. Great songwriting and love the pedal steel work on it!

This was probably cooler in the 90s, a lot the production feels dated, but not old enough to be retro. Some good verses and tracks, but overall not really my favorite. The gynecologist shtick/skits didn’t really hit. Love that this probably paved the way for acts like MF Doom, but don’t love it for itself.
