Nov 17 2025

Not what I expected. Sonically, it sounds beautiful. Some of the lyrics are a little over the top for me. Overall, pretty good. My wife summed it up best: sad girl cigarette music.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Nov 20 2025

Always a good time.

The Yes Album by Yes
Nov 21 2025

Everything I love about prog rock is on this album. It's funny that I never listened to Yes before, their hits are kinda cheesy. I grew up hearing it on generic classic rock radio. I can listen to Robert Wyatt with Soft Machine all day and now this.

Kid A by Radiohead
Nov 24 2025

This was a game changer when it came out, but then everyone wanted to be Radiohead. I'd still take this for what it is, turning Radiohead into a legendary band instead of just a great British Rock band.

Tommy by The Who
Dec 05 2025

The Who is unique for it's time. Took me forever to realize Keith Moon didn't play a hi-hat. His style really defines the band at their best: bombastic. Maybe not my favorite Who album, feels dated. I'd rather listen to Rolling Stones from this era.

Harvest by Neil Young
Dec 06 2025

Everything I love about prog rock is on this album. It's funny that I never listened to Yes before, their hits are kinda cheesy. I grew up hearing it on generic classic rock radio. I can listen to Robert Wyatt with Soft Machine all day and now this.

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Dec 06 2025

This band escaped me in the 90s. I don't know if I would have appreciated it back then, but I like it now.

Moon Safari by Air
Dec 09 2025

I loved this album when it came out, it's a classic now. Melow and smooth, like a nice glass of wine.

Dec 10 2025

I never sat down and really listened to Queen, even though I love everything about them and heard all their hits.

Other

Album origins are grouped into three buckets: US, UK, and everything else. “Other” means the artists you rate highest are from outside the US and UK.
