Never could stand AC/DC when I heard it on the radio. Not excited that this is my first album.... Maybe this will change my mind. Hells Bells - Great intro, great riff. Singers voice is very grating in this song. Good song though. Shoot to Thrill - kind of generic hard rock from the radio, but decent catchy song. Good chorus! What do you do for money - same as last song, kind of generic hard rock, catchy enough song to be relatively pleasing. Fun guitar solo. Givin the dog a bone - another generic hard rock song. totally skippable. Let me put my love into you - good intro, first song that feels like a different song since hells bells. This slower song feels like a good vehicle for the singer's voice. Some interesting guitar licks in the prechorus. fun guitar solo. Back in black - oh I know this one from the radio. great intro. good catchy song. You shook me all night long - probably my favourite so far. have a drink on me - alright, let's get back to forgettable classic hard rock. I'm a sucker though for the back-up vocals during the chorus. shake a leg - fun riff once it get's going. guitar solo is not great.. rock n roll ain't noise pollution - I like this one. Ok, I get that this album is super well-loved, but it's simply not for me, beyond a couple of the singles. hard rock is boring rock, unless the band adds something unique, which ACDC never does for me. Led Zep, GNR, even Jethro Tull do the same thing with more interesting results.. Ultimately, it's ...fine

First time ever listening to YES. Roundabout - fun guitar intro. Funky bassline. Oh this song is eight and a half minutes long. cans & brahms - interesting, sounds like christmas we have heaven - this is a jam! love it south side of the sky - windy intro, funky prog is fun. never been a huge prog fan, like some, love some, but mostly meh for me. ...rest was fine. lots of great instrumentation, but not a style that's necessarily for me.

Love this one. Really solid classic rock, totally rooted in the blues, album that I hadn't heard before.
