1001 Albums Summary

Love the placement of Exodus in the middle of the album splitting it from the political/freedom/strength type songs/love songs. Every song so good with different emotions but a nice cohesion.

I enjoyed some of the instrumental jam type sequences throughout the first and closing songs. Nice to get lost a bit in the journey of that, but overall I found this album pretty boring and slow. I didn’t feel any stirring of emotions or feeling as I listened.

Solid album! Transported me back to the 60s in a great way. Impressive that he had that much talent on the guitar at such a young age. I’d probably rate it a 3.5. Some of the songs were a tad underwhelming but others were 👌

I liked hearing some snippets that have been used in other mash ups that I like. Was definitely bobbing my head and shaking my leg to the beat at certain points. I really care for the conversations between songs. Can’t say I’d turn to listen to the album multiple times though.

I enjoyed this album. I liked that each song didn’t sound like the next but they all had a Foo Fighters feel to them. I also noticed their influence on a lot of other musicians I’ve liked which was cool. 3.5 rating probably

Not my favorite Elvis album.

This felt warm! I enjoyed most of it. Full of emotion and folk.

I wanted to like this, but besides the two popular songs the album was kind of flat (?) and monotonous

I liked this album! Classic 80s vibes. Liked pretty much all the songs. Some even made it to my playlists!
