1001 Albums Summary

6.5/10 Super heavy on the guitar, long songs but I enjoyed most of them! Liked Good Times Bad Times best. Learned that the album cover is Hindenburg which was manufactured by a company called Zeppelin (hence the band name). Also learned that their drummer, Bonham, died at 32 from choking on vomit which led to the eventual break up of the band. Stairway to Heaven is the most popular song of theirs. Immigrant Song is also popular and goes hard.

No skips! Big fan and many will be added into my regular rotation.

Pretty good! Imagine is amazing, but none of the other blew me away.

This album made me feel on edge and dark…not my cup of tea, but grateful for this app making me listen to albums id never choose myself. I do see what they’re trying to do and they definitely create the emotions they’re intending for the listener to feel

Spooky, dark, moody. A couple of songs really stuck out to me and the lead singer has a great voice. I liked Glory Box a lot!

I know this is like THE album and I do enjoy it, but still 4/5 stars for me. From what I understand, it was very ahead of its time as far as sound goes. Really like Us and Them.

This album felt okay to me, but enjoyed some of his other songs quite a bit. I like his style and was surprised most of his stuff was from the 90s, definitely an older feel!

Album Title song goes very hard, feel like it’s probably in a lot of movies. Big fan. Cool instrumentals

I love how Kanye critiques higher education in this album. Overall, just so good. I want this one on vinyl now.

I can say objectively that this is a very good album, but the style of music doesn’t interest me and I don’t love Lorde’s voice. I’m realizing a lot the music that’s super popular, but not for me ends up being produced by Jack Antonoff. So maybe I’m just not a big fan of him. I don’t like this for a similar reason I don’t love Taylor Swift or Lana Del Rey. I do love her Pure Heroine album though!

I like Changing and Kooks quite a bit! Probably a 6/10 album for me. Also is Mr. Brightside inspired by Queen Bitch by David Bowie??? The song at 2:25 sounds sooo similar🤔

Big Otis fan. I think I have other songs of his that I enjoy more, but always enjoy learning what songs are originals vs covers and just overall love me some soul music

This album made me want to get more into jazz! Listened to some of his other stuff with frank Sinatra and loved it.

He is such a good story teller! Didn’t like his covers of songs as well as originals though
