1001 Albums Summary

It's very chill so far, I am only on the first track. Can imagine putting this on whilst I'm studying or travelling. Despite this, I do find myself skipping the second track impulsively, but that is why I'm doing this - to actually expand my music taste and stop listening to what I KNOW that I enjoy. Very sensual, I love the electronic pop and the dreaminess of the instrumentals and vocals. This is a late night album, definitely, very soft and gentle on the ears. The artwork on the cover fits the vibe so perfectly. All in all - this is not my usual style of music, but I thoroughly enjoyed each track, even if they were similar in style. 8.5/10, would listen again

Really like this so far, feels so classic rock, instrumentals dig into your bones. Such a rebellious feeling, I always love when people have English accents in their singing, since I assumed they were American for some reason, having not really listened to them before. Apologies. It's music that makes me want to punch a cop, can imagine listening to this while getting ready for a night out in a strange way. All in all - 9.5/10. Made me do a little boogie, would definitely listen again!!

Oh, a porch and a glass of contemplative whiskey. A cigar, perhaps. Your wife sitting beside you, both of you in your late forties. The land is flat, the sun is setting in oranges and pinks and you are happy. 10/10 - Never expected to enjoy Springsteen to this degree, but maybe that's my youth speaking. Will listen again.

Oh wow. Oh WOW. I had only heard Hallelujah before this, but this album, man. It moved me to tears at points, and felt like a prayer. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. 9/10 - Will listen again.
