The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest

There are a couple of interesting ones but otherwise, and possibly sounding ignorant, are all these songs supposed to sound exactly the same? Because I could not for the life of me tell them apart

Heroes by David Bowie
Dec 16 2025

Didn't love it. Most of the songs except Heroes and a few more are a bit too loud and overstimulating for me, there's so much happening at once I can't focus on the lyrics, which I'm sure are good.

Garbage by Garbage
Dec 17 2025

A very coherent rock album. Not usually my prefered genre, so even though I overall liked it, I probrably wouldn't listen to it as a whole again. Still, I really liked Only happy when it rains and stupid girl, they are going straight to my playlist

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Dec 18 2025

It is nice to listen to, I love the jazzy instrumental and some of the songs are great, but as an album is slightly monotone and the songs are SO long, it made me want to not finish them. The album is a bit too long aswell. Still, I will listen more of Sufjan Steven because I liked his vibe. Ultimately the rating is 3 stars because it is wayyy too long without much change.

C'est Chic by CHIC
Dec 19 2025

Cute, love the instrumentals, but most songs are too long and too similar.

Dec 20 2025

I like it! It's dramatic and cohesive, but very interesting to listen to. It is maybe not something drastically different from everything else made at the time, but it's a good 2000's rock album, it's typical and entertaining. Not everything has to be weird and experimental.

Parklife by Blur
Dec 21 2025

This is so british 90's that may be overrated and tired for some, but I had barely listened to anything by blur, and I loved it!

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Dec 23 2025

I prefer other Kendrick Lamar albums to this one, although I still think it's good. It just isn't anything I would listen to again, as all the song sound very similar and the sound itself isn't particularly my preference.

Diamond Life by Sade
Dec 24 2025

So vibey, so nice to listen to. It is smooth and satisfying. The songs are a bit long, but honestly, the whole album could be one giant song, so I don't mind too much. The best way to listen to it is as an entire album, while relaxing or reading, and it is perfect for that

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Dec 25 2025

I believe this is very of its time. I don't see myself listening to it again, except if I'm looking for this vibe in particular, but it's nice to listen to.

Dec 26 2025

It was a fun christmas album, nothing special. I also didn't know who Phil Spector was or the things that he had done so that was interesting.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Dec 29 2025

Boooooooring

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Dec 30 2025

There are a couple of interesting ones but otherwise, and possibly sounding ignorant, are all these songs supposed to sound exactly the same? Because I could not for the life of me tell them apart

The Poet by Bobby Womack
Dec 31 2025

This is SO cool, I wish I had heard about it earlier! I loved it, perfect for listening to while drawing or writing. So vibey so fun. I think it's because of the style, but it feels timeless to me.

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Jan 01 2026

It’s fine, easy to listen to but nothing special

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Jan 02 2026

Very depressing and kinda boring britpop. I liked a couple of songs but it’s nothing special as an album.

Document by R.E.M.
Jan 04 2026

I just love how REM sounds

Skylarking by XTC
Jan 08 2026

this is interesting, kinda theatrical, cute but forgetteable, probably won't listen again but it was sort of a vibe, so can't be too mad.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Jan 09 2026

Sure why not. It’s fine but I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if it wasn’t the live version

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jan 10 2026

I surprisingly didn’t hate this at all, it’s cool but I don’t see myself listening to the whole album again. I liked a couple of songs and the overall vibe tho.

Rapture by Anita Baker
Jan 14 2026

Gooood. Pretty monotone but somehow in a good way.

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Jan 15 2026

This is very weird, and I was prepared to not like it at all, but I strangely enjoyed it.

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Jan 16 2026

Today was an uncharacteristically foggy day in my city, so listening to this while driving to work felt like transcending dimensions. Apart from that experience, which wasn’t bad, I feel like this album is only meant to be listened to in very specific situations, and for normal life it’s kind of boring and WAY too boom shoom wao wao fiu fiu.
