Initial Fav: Travelin' Band (added to my playlist) not my usual genre, but I am rocking with it. OHH IVE HEARD UP AROUND THE BEND - this band is a part of my childhood. who'll stop the rain takes me back to being a kid.

Very easy listening, may be one of the first folk albums I've listened to. I actually appreciate the almost 'under produced' feel this album has (maybe that's what all folk albums sound like, I have no experience). I'm a sucker for instrumentals, just letting them ebb and flow, and I get that satisfaction from this album. Maybe I'm sympathetic to the short life he lived, but I can honestly say that Nick Drake could have been so successful in his career- while he lived. His lyricism is raw, and so provoking. He was so sad. And now, I am sad too. Fruit Tree wrecked me. This is an incredible debut album, and I am so glad it has graced my ears.

Right off the bat, this album just feels like the end of a long amazing career. Everyone falls off at some point, and honestly this sounds like a fall off. I'm not well versed in David Bowie, and I know he is a legend, but I'm not feeling that with this album. I really really hate it...

Nothing really stands out to be about this album. I have heard some of the Black Keys things, and enjoyed them. I don't think this album is anything to write home about, though. After reading some reviews, I can agree that this is music for a car commercial. Very repetitive, and overall very... millennial? (I will give this one more star than the David Bowie mess I was forced to listen to yesterday)

I definitely don't hate this album, but It doesn't stand out to me. There are a few songs I enjoyed and will listen to again, but not my favorite album.

Why are there so many bongos in the 70s? I'm getting a little tired of the bongos. I don't love this genre. I can appreciate the album, I don't think is bad, just not up my alley.

While I wasn't entertained the entire album, I did find some songs I enjoyed. It's definitely a genre I'm not familiar with, but I actually enjoyed it a little bit.
