Really like this one. Favs are... The Bones of You, Mirrorball, Grounds for Divorce. Also An Audience with the Pope, and One Day Like This. You can totally tell how this influenced indie and alternative music. Very orchestral in some songs. And Guy Garvey is a good singer.

Really liked this. never listened to the full album before. Obviously had heard Gloria. I liked the beachy vibe of Redondo Beach, unexpected. Also interesting how it sounds like spoken word in some songs. I want to read her book soon.

This is Hell. Fav song. Definitely partial to My Aim Is True. and to Elvis and the Attractions. But this has to be the origins of me enjoying when dudes do weird things with their voice.
