Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 29 2025

Didn’t know much about this album before listening but did learn that it was the debut of No Woman No Cry which was cool. Aside from that I thought the front half of the album was pretty bland and picked up in the second half starting around the title track of Natty Dread. Would give a 3.5 if starts could be halved

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Dec 30 2025

Scream rock is not usually my first choice of listening, but as far as it goes, I liked this album. There were hidden gems and it wasn’t totally head bangy the whole time. Favorite track: Flight of the Rat.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Jan 01 2026

A very Bowie album. The lead track blows and is a 10 minute long mess of space sounds and noise which kills the vibe but the other songs are solid, but not blow away. Would give 3.5

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jan 02 2026

Good background music for chill vibes but not meant to be listened to too intently imo. Nothing really jumped a ton. Favorite track: City With no Children

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jan 03 2026

A fine album, just not my vibe. I think I have to rework my ranking scale…

Jan 11 2026

Love it. The instrumentals and the feel from the songs is unmatched. The album is long but in a rock opera-y sorta way that really works. Favorite track: Liberation. Least favorite track: Free Form Guitar

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Jan 12 2026

What an incredible voice. Loved the simplicity and emotion behind every song. Also can we leave it out there just how kickass Monica Barbaro was? Wow. Definitely have a deeper appreciation after seeing the movie as well. Favorite tracks: Wildwood Flower, Rake and Rambling Boy

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 13 2026

(Should be 3.5) Honestly a very good album. Van Halen simply isn’t my style of artist which is why he isn’t getting graded higher, otherwise he would. Was a little surprised by how many I knew. Favorite track: You Really Got Me
