I’m just not a very big rock girly. The album would’ve been amazing if I was into that sort of thing. The songs all sounded the same to me, but they were good songs. I could see myself turning this album on to impress someone else with really good music taste.
This album feels very nostalgic, like something that somebody would sing around a campfire or songs that would play in the background of a movie montage. I wasn’t particularly a fan of the talking points during the songs, but I enjoyed the overall vibe that the album brought. As a gravity falls fan, it was a jumpscare to hear We’ll Meet Again. That along with Bridge Over Troubled Water were my two standout songs from the album.
This album is the epitome of dad music. Despite only previously having listened to Jump, I swear I’ve heard all of these songs at least once on the radio. They were all followed up with my dad asking, “who sings this?” Overall, I really loved the vibe of the album and can see myself listening to it again soon.
This album already sounds like the music I currently love. I can definitely see myself turning on this album when studying, going on a walk, or on a long car ride. I’m stuck between a 4 and a 5 because while the album is not absolute perfection, I love the vibe it gives off. I definitely need to listen to this album again to truly appreciate the songs on it.
I loved all the songs on this album. I went into this expecting it to be the same boring rock shit, but I was pleasantly surprised. I already knew a lot of the songs on the album, but didn’t know they were by Boston. Fake fan I guess. This is my first five stars of the project, and I can see myself dancing around my room to these songs more often.
I was surprised to see this album seeing that I’ve already knew about it before. I had previously already listened to a lot of the songs on it, and my opinion is still the same. It’s a nice and calm album, but it’s nothing life-changing. I understand why people are obsessed with it, but I would only really turn this on in the background of me studying, not when I actually want to listen to music. I still really enjoyed the album though.
I love Madonna. Like a Prayer is so iconic and this album was such a great time. I did listen to this album on a run which I will say isn’t the best place for it lol. I’m now proud to say that I’ve listened to a Madonna album all the way through.
I was not looking forward to listening to this album when I pulled it, and it definitely wasn’t my favorite. It’s not the album’s fault, I’m just not a big hip hop and rap girl. The only thing that saved this album from a one star were some of the good beats behind the awfully misogynistic lyrics. I don’t ever see myself purposefully listening to any of these songs again.
Again, I’m just not the biggest hip hop fan. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t enjoy this album though. I thought it was a fun time, and it had good vibes. I don’t see myself listening to this on a daily basis.
There is no reason why a twenty minute song should be on an album and then be followed up with a ten minute song. This album seemed to never end even though it only had 7 songs. When I finally made it to the good part in the music, I didn’t even care anymore. This is the kind of album that people say they love just so they can appear niche and interesting. I’m not buying it.
