1001 Albums Summary

I liked this album! Even though it was mostly covers, Redding's voice changed the songs enough where they sounded original and I only realized they were covers once I started recognizing the lyrics. Not something I would usually sought out, but enjoyed! 8/10

The album was alright, the first half of songs all sounded the same, black hole sun was the tipping point, then the second half all sounded the same as well

Liked the psychedelic rock aspect of the songs and Hendrix's sound, but the individual songs were veryyy long. The experimental nature of the guitar throughout the album was very interesting and entertaining to hear progress throughout!

The actual music of the album was good, but the vocals were just not there for me...

Alright. I thought this album was pretty good, and I will not be taking any questions, comments, or concerns. The semi-rock elements in the songs along with the goofy lyrics/stories told in the songs made for a fun and interesting listen
