1001 Albums Summary

Pretty good, not something I would usually reach for. kinda reminds me of The Garden, Puzzle, and every other side project that the Shears twins have done. the album feels like it goes on forever but its probably because of the slower nature of the songs

YESSSSS i fucking love this album, i just need to listen to it more! i definitely listen to thriller more but i see why people say that off the wall is his best album. after listening to again, i really do see why people say this is his best, honestly it's hit after hit after hit but PERSONALLY i like thriller more :p

i really liked this! i need to listen to the doors more, but i already knew three of the songs before i listened to the full album

interesting album, will not come back to it anytime soon. some of the songs were good but the separation in the ears was fucking me up too much

GROOVY GROOVY GROOVYYY i love all of the bass lines and guitar licks? riffs? on this album so much, Dancewitme is like PEAK grooviness, Whenever Wherever Whatever sounds like a Spanish love song ngl

really good! i already knew black magic woman and oye como va so i was excited going into the album

this is the first time i've listened to any of these songs, and i really liked them! i've already listened to some joy division but mostly the mainstream songs. the fact that this was their final album as jd before ian curtis took his life makes it very... overwhelming, for lack of a better word.

was really promising at first, i really liked the flowy nature of the first three instrumental tracks and then it just went fully off rails imo

i LOOOOVE the way Poly Styrene says the name of some songs at the beginning. i wanna be like her so badly.

i loooove a good groovy album and by god this mf is groovy. Savoir Faire is such a gorg song. I Want Your Love is so so so groovy and… fluid?? idk how to describe it other than fluid. At Last I Am Free is so flowy, i feel like i need to have a long flowy dress that blows and flows in the wind

this album is very… interesting but in a good way. i have no idea if i’ll ever listen to any of these songs ever again, but they were pretty good and psychedelic
