1001 Albums Summary

Interesting to hear tracks that I recognise but most of the album felt like a school band shouting. Like the innovation given it was mid 80s and some of the production is cool. Unlikely to listen to again.

Surprised by the quality of production. Vocals and drums are delightful. Enjoyed listening but couldn’t get into it a second time.

Not really engaging my ears at all. Feel very generic, which I guess it didn’t at the time. Nevertheless, there’s nothing there for me.

What’s an opening to the first track. Such clean production. A great walk to work this morning. Vibes, even if it descends into background music after the first few tracks.

A high proportion of these albums are one hit wonders. One classic so a 2. The rest is a load of filler. 80s ballad pop yawn.

Enjoyed this. Knew mr blue eyes but felt like there were other strong tracks. Probably will listen again.

Mostly really enjoyed. The drumming is so good. Murdered Matty Groves but forgivable. The jig medley is epic and needs a snappy 909 kick!

I thought Led Zeppelin were gonna be good.

Fuck me this is bad. 2 barely recognisable songs with a hit of pop attraction. Beginning to have doubt about the authors of this compendium
