The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe

Liked it quite eclectic. Not something I would have listened to if it wasn’t in this list.

2/5 Found it dull, maybe ok for doing the ironing in the background. Ironically the only track tha I enjoyed was Optimistic

Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Feb 09 2026

Interesting album. Forgot how funky and bass lead Frankie were. Even though they were huge in the day I never got around to listening to the whole album.

Very good album. I’ve not listened to it for a long time. Remember when it came out and it was huge!!

Not sure about the taped conversation bits but you can’t really fault an alb that has America, Mrs Robinson and Hazy shade of winter

Headquarters by The Monkees

Ok but nothing special. Can’t help seeing them as a fake Beatles!!

Really liked it. Funky but had no idea what he was singing about!’

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis

Initial thoughts are quite good. Not my usual listening but I think repeat listens would be good.
