1001 Albums Summary

Yeah so this is my least favorite album I've ever heard which is saying a lot tbh

Personally this style of rap from this time period specifically isn't for me but I gotta admit this shit slaps

Tom Petty never gets old but he does have a lot of very similar songs personally nothing tops Last Dance with Mary Jane

I hate life albums and most of this album is just instrumentals and for God sakes, an 67 minute long album with 7 tracks?!?! And the first one is a whopping 23 minutes long and people think Metallica has long runtimes on songs!

I never understood the appeal of Bowie, vocally he's just ok and lyrically he's fine I guess but overall he's very mediocre this album highlights that a lot

This beats Highway, this is the worst album I've heard, what the fuck is this doing on this list? It's like putting a finger painting by a 2 year old next to Picasso

Why is this album on this list? It doesn't stand out in any way besides being painfully mediocre! How does this get on the list but not incredibly influential bands like Sublime or half of SOAD's discography (I'm aware they have Self-titled but it's like their second worst album so it really shouldn't imo)!!

This album is painfully mediocre, there is nothing special about it and just sounds like standard white guy rock, if an album is good enough to be on this list I expect it to have at least some originality and not just the bland stereotypical inde rock song

Ok, so I don't even know how to rate this album since I can't listen to it, I clicked on it to listen on Spotify and there was one track on the album, when I clicked it, it was a completely different track which is weird considering the run-time of the album was 63 minutes and this one functioning song was 3 minutes, I couldn't even find the album on their artist page! Do I just rate this a 1? I'm so incredibly confused

This album is very interesting, from a band called The Zombie I was expecting dark almost goth type music but instead I get a bright peppy sound and honestly I'm here for it! Every track here sounds great and this is definitely a 5/5 in my books!!

This album was incredibly boring, the songs were so boring and sounded like the same thing over and over again and didn't really have any good musicality

I'm going to be so honest I skimmed through this album but from what I heard the mixing of tracks was terrible and often made Iggy's voice very sharp, not as in pitch but like actively attacking my ears which isn't cool man
