1001 Albums Summary

I had heard a few songs from this album but had never listened to it all the way through. Absolutely loved the energy and raunch, and I loved Ramble Tamble!

Love this album, I've heard most of it before. I found that once I was like 3/4 of the way through it sounded very samey. I love RHCP but I tend to jump around eras a little.

I think this album would be fantastic to get high to in the 60's - I listened to this while doing my office job, which I don't think did it justice. But I did enjoy it, it was so funky, but there were long, repetitive stretches that I found annoying me.

Loved the country vibe. Some of the songs blended into each other - not in a smooth Pink Floyd-y way, just that it got a little repetitive but I enjoyed it a lot. Really liked Dear Doctor, I'd not heard that one before.

I didn't think I knew many songs from this album, turns out my Dad's a big fan on the Yeah Yeah Yeah's and I knew a lot of these songs from him playing them growing up! It was super fun to rediscover a lot of these and I love thier experimental, chaotic sound. Karen O carries each song with passion and an artistic flair that I just think makes this album so fun

This is like if Bob Dylan didn't have an annoying voice (I love Bob Dylan). It was cosy, rambly, and country. I wasn't the biggest fan, but I think it was a good album, just not very suited to me. The songs were a little same-y and lacked some of the Bob Dylan raunch.
