Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Feb 21 2026

Sighted as hugely influential to birth of heavy metal so met with trepidation. Pleasently surprised how much I enjoyed it, particularly blues influences and 70s feel. 3/5

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Feb 22 2026

Good this. Didn’t realise it was the debut with the misleading IV on cover until finding it in the book. JJ’s bass is awesome, like London Lady, Go Buddy Go and iconic Peaches.

Feb 23 2026

A definite standout record, one of REM’s best. The opener is a belter, as is the first half of the album. 2nd half perhaps not reaching the massive standards. Deserving of its place.

Dookie by Green Day
Feb 25 2026

More pop than punk to me and that’s where I am with Green Day. The hits tend to be the highlights for me. A decent listen but not one that’ll have me searching for more.
