1001 Albums Summary

Here, There and Everywhere has been my fav so far. For No One is a banger too. Also some of these songs are so short! It’s crazy. Doctor Robert is my new fav. Got To Get You Into My Life is fire. Best song so far for me.

Man. What an album. It was exactly what I needed today. Painsong totally caught me off guard and set me up for what to expect from the rest of the album and it didn’t let me down! The instrumentation was incredible. I truly had no idea the Cure made music like this.

Conceptually this album is incredible! I can really feel how each song is a different set of dancers. The horns are fantastic. I loved the Flamenco guitar element in Track C. Overall, it’s a bit chaotic for my liking (as is much jazz). If I want to listen to a jazz album it will definitely be one I would go to again.

Not my favorite! I respect the experimental risks though. Honestly didn’t know Bowie was still making music in 2016.

Hot take: Oasis are better than the Beatles. Such a dope blend of classic rock with other more modern elements.

Dude. Such a good album. Amazing lyrics. Obviously very timely to what’s going on in the USA right now. Instrumentation is incredible. The bass grooves are tight, the solos fucking rip, and the drums just keep the head bobbing. No notes.

Fantastic sound and songwriting. I liked this more than any of the stuff I’ve heard the Beatles record together.
