1001 Albums Summary

Classic, some of my favorite Dylan songs. Probably my favorite Dylan album after Nashville Skyline

Super Bluesy, hope to listen again.

Led Zeppelin isn't my thing.

Never heard any of these songs before but I liked it.

Great, loved it.

Garage ska punk, my type of music, I liked it. Not sure why it's on this list, there are definitely more formative albums and more formative bands from this time and before. Operation Ivy off the dome.

Some really great songs but wayyy too long. Beautiful, heartbreaking, great compositions. But I found some of it pretty tedious and would have liked it more if it was shorter I think.

Could barely listen to it all... I think the pitchfork review was right- bad toothless "rock" that wants to be edgey.

Really cool 2000s indie pop rock- reminds me a little of Wolf Parade or some of the other... say "twee" type bands.

I really like the folksy elements mixed in with these great distorted guitar tones.
