I'm sure this is for someone, but it wasn't for me. It just translated as noise. Nails on a chalkboard. No thank you.

Sounds adjacent to Days of the New and Soundgarden. Was not at all what I was expecting based on the title/name/cover. Not awful, not something I would personally choose to listen to again. Too mellow/sleep-inducing. Good for a dreary, rainy nap day. Run has the most energy on the album. I'm sure this is a great album for someone who enjoys things chill, not for me.

I can't get past his voice most of the time, but he was certainly a poet. Best when its closest to the blues influence and when the music hits a good rhythm. Never really listened to more than one song of his at a time because his voice grates, but I can see why he's so beloved.
