1001 Albums Summary

Not my type of music. Don’t like lead singers voice. Most simple back track with no or very little build up. Nothing special to me. Only good song “who’ll stop the rain”

I’ve already listened to this before. It’s decent but definitely not as good as vs. Oceans is a great song. Not as boring as the previous one.

Listened to before. Good album with some bangers. Hotel California hits

I’m a huge 90s alt rock fan and it just didn’t feel that special to me. Some of the songs were ok but I was always thinking about if I actually liked it enough to add to my playlist. Music is very subjective so I probably just don’t mess with their sound like I mess with others.

I listened to this before and it’s one of the first albums I do mess with. The whole albums is a joy to listen to and California is one of my favorite songs which the vocals on are mad impressive now that I relisten. The only reason it’s not a 5 is because it’s not one of my favorites even though it’s an objectively great album.

I have already listened to this before. Neil Young is one of my favorite musicians and Harvest is an all time great country rock album. Every song on this record is great and old man is probably my favorite.

This albums a real joy and the instrumentation is excellent. In the right atmosphere this album is an easy 5 but since my day to day life doesn’t fit the music too much it takes a way a little of my enjoyment so for me it’s a 4

I really enjoyed this album despite not adding too many songs to my playlist. I love Cash’s old man voice so much it was just pleasant. All the covers were good and most of them I really enjoyed. I’m a real sucker for acoustic guitar so that probably made me enjoy the songs more. I did feel that some of the songs don’t have too much progression which I didn’t like that much. But I did love the lyrics as well just something about them was fun, sad, and interesting.

This reminded me of the cure a lot but they don’t do anything that special for me. Elegia was great tho I liked that one

Bowie is a genius and this is one of his best records. Even though I hate when songs are overplayed and popularized like starman or moon age daydream they still are bangers nonetheless

The first two songs scared me but the rest of the first half banged. The second half fell off for me it just didn’t feel all that special. Regardless I really enjoyed this album and the good songs were super good.

The songs are plenty fun and the lyrics and singing is good I just can’t listen to songs this long regularly

I felt bad because Inreally didn’t like this album and I thought it was from a small artist but then I saw they have 5 mil monthly listeners and I stopped feeling bad. It sounds like this whole record was made in garage band.

At first I wasn’t messing with it because it felt like just basic old timey music but then body and soul went crazy on the trumpet. Then I started noticing some of the little things Prima and crew did and the album really grew on me. Also prima voiced king Louise in the Jungle Book so he’s an absolute king.

I’m kinda confused how this beat out some of the other cure albums but I am a pornography enjoyer lol

Cowboy music. Outdated but fun listen. Some interesting guitar. Woulda been great short stories back in the day.
