Metallica by Metallica

Really like the instrumentals but honestly sometimes just James Hetfields voice is a little funny to me and takes me out of it. Obviously quintessential, just not my vibe.

Really like the instrumentals but honestly sometimes just James Hetfields voice is a little funny to me and takes me out of it. Obviously quintessential, just not my vibe.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Mar 06 2026

Just such a great album. So concise in it's presentation and each song is so clearly from this project. My only gripe is it gets somewhat hard to differentiate some of the songs from one another.

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Mar 07 2026

He croons and he croons. This album is insanely incredibly one note because every song follows the same vocal structure for him, but also like bro it's frank sinatra he's the goat and it was extremely enjoyable. I was doing laundry while I was listening and it felt like I was in fallout a little bit which was fun.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Mar 08 2026

It’s like the lead singer was told he could do a really good Bob Dylan impersonation but everyone in the room was drunk when he did it, but then he latched on to that idea so much that he got a group of people who had heard music a few times to play in a band with him while he sings generic lines like “I can feel the with under my overalls” in a Bob Dylan voice, but now that everyone else is sober they don’t have the heart to tell him it isn’t that good of an impression, so instead they suggest that they call themselves “the war on drugs” and they all think that’s pretty cool cause one of them did cocaine once and so they keep playing music but the lead guy never drops the Bob Dylan voice for the rest of time. Music made for dads on a boat.

21 by Adele
Mar 09 2026

Classic Adele, she’s so f ing good. Every melody is insanely catchy and it makes you want to sprint in the rain while crying about something out of your control

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Mar 10 2026

First five star of this album listening thing. This album was so much fun, it was the first thing I started listening to when I woke up this-morning and it put me in such a great mood. Amazing and catchy choruses, a vocal tone that didn't take itself too seriously, this album was sm fun.

Mar 11 2026

Meh. I really enjoyed the drum tone, and it was super playful, but it kind of felt nothing burger

The Yes Album by Yes
Mar 12 2026

Really enjoyed this one. Just a lot of fun to listen to, the riffs are all super catchy and the guitar playing is insane. Will definitely revisit

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Mar 13 2026

I’ve heard this one before. Absolutely quintessential. She has the kind of voice that can bring tears to your eyes in two notes. Such a lovely album. All the songs are so well written and filled with such emotion. I love all the instrumentals, god, just a good album.

Heroes by David Bowie
Mar 14 2026

I don’t love David Bowie I’m finding out, but I really loved the long interludes on this one, and he’s just so iconic so it was enjoyable to listen to

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Mar 15 2026

Not really into this, pretty watered down Christain rock it feels like.

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Mar 17 2026

I honestly thought I didn't enjoy music like this, but it's so good.

Among The Living by Anthrax
Mar 18 2026

Classic heavy metal, it was fun I didn’t listen all the way through cause it’s totally not my thing, and I didn’t have too much time yesterday.

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Mar 19 2026

Really enjoyed it. The second track was a standout, all of the vocal performances were really impactful and I loved the literal take on industrial music.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Mar 20 2026

This was pretty goood, didn’t get a great opportunity to listen. EDIT: was SO not on the right vibe, this album is so good it scratches a really specific itch I didn't know I had. The synth work is incredible, and the modal mixture in all of the tracks is so much fun. Halo was an absolute standout track to me. Lovely lovely.

Mar 22 2026

Great album. The beats go crazy, I love how smooth everything is. I think lowk tupacs flow over a whole album can get a little repetitive, but the old school vibe is always fun to revisit.

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Mar 23 2026

Found this really not that great, the guitar that was supposed to be the highlight of the album felt uninteresting and a lot of the vocal performances bordered on being funny rather than being soulful and heartfelt. Quite a disappointment

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Mar 24 2026

I like the stones more than I thought! The bluesy stuff was my favorite off this

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Mar 25 2026

Found this kinda boring # nothing burger but whatever. Eighties for the sake of it snare and tom go brrrrrr

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
Mar 27 2026

Crazy how much this music probably influenced Jeff, though he says he only met his father once. It was really really good, some of the songs felt a tad bit too long, but they were exactly the vision that he had (at least it felt that way). His voice has so much soul behind it, very good and enjoyable!

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Mar 28 2026

white music at it’s peak really so good I love the drumbeats but it gets a little slow repetitive at times
