Loved Starkville City Jail, San Quentin, and A Boy Named Sue. the energy in this show is so enviable, I want to be there. Johnny was very funny and charming. from -4 to 4, I give a 2.

unfortunately, this album did not hit for me. I was excited by the description and the genre, but it just didn't grab me. liked the instrumentals, that's about it.

five stars. this album made me groove and I loved the lyrics. the message in each song was powerful. did not want to to end lol.

11 songs total on this album, really started to lose me around song 7. everything before that, peak. after that it was downhill. the use of women moaning and crying in his songs is um. disturbing? mostly the crying. something in the water was just. bad. LOL

this genre of music really isn't for me, the music nor the lyrics drew me in. could not listen fully. vocals were pretty and the instrument choices were interesting though.

love the linear yet non-linear set up of the album. hard-hitting lyrics and a good beat.
