The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Mar 22 2026

suffering from SSS (same sound syndrome) on this one for a handful of the songs. I've never really listened to hip hop music often, but the album opener really hooked me right into the album with the thought out bars and bass line. The songs that feature something different like a featured artist or instrument are great. Favs: What?, Scenario, Excursions, Abstract

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Mar 23 2026

I think this was a very enjoyable listen. The instruments and Al Green's voice come together like they're all one big family. A huge highlight of this album were the vocal harmonies of the various people on this album. I do think some songs sounded a little bit the same.

No Other by Gene Clark

It sounds like country Pink Floyd a little bit near the middle. I enjoyed this album, but it kind of put me to sleep.
