A quick brief: Earth, Wind and Fire: has 8 tracks in total, a mixture of different lengths of tracks, they are renowned for blending funk, soul, R&B, jazz and disco. They are also recognised for high calibre, musicianship, spirituality, positivity of lyrics and powerful horn section. I give this album solid 5 Shining Star: this started with a big hit (one of their popular songs that came out), funky vibe, harmonized together well and sick guitar. Title track: That’s The Way Of The World: saxophone (love it) kind of a jazz chill vibe, good groove and expresses spirituality throughout the song. Happy Feelin: funky, powerful horn, genuinely a good vibe and it gives you a “happy feelin”. All About Love: this is a slow song, powerful horn section, feeling like love is in the air and unexpected turns in this song. Yearnin Learnin: soul, groove vibe, catchy. It reminds me of a funky disco party with the wide leg trousers with the big glasses (bold colours). Reasons: slow song, end of the night/party time to go home/ last song, holding tight to your partner feeling. Africano: this felt different from others as it kind of experimented with a variety of instruments, jazz/ funky vibe. See The Light: its spiritual and high calibre. Overall is a good album it defo gives you what it says/ what the artist is about and their type of music that they have to offer. They came and delivered it well. I feel like each track is different and doesn’t really sound the same all the way through. Which is a good thing!
