1001 Albums Summary

Wow, this whole album really is about one theme...

I knew a few of these songs from regular rotation on oldies radio when I was growing up. Listening to them again after all these years, there's so much good songcraft, and so jazzy. At the end of the day, I probably won't go back and listen to this album a lot, but love the mix of folk and jazz, and all the musician ship and production values are top notch.

it's fine. Definitely skilled musicians making fun music, but I get bored with it.

About 10 minutes into the album I had to check which song it was up to and was surprised to discover I was on track 2. I would have believe 1 and I would have believe 4.

There's some catchy stuff here, but overall not my thing

I think I would like it better with a different singer
