1001 Albums Summary

very pleasant to listen to. as opposed to an alice in chains album, I didn’t feel like I wanted to take my headphones off because it hurt my ears (not that I don’t love aic, I ABSOLUTELY do. it’s just a more gritty sound). I thought every song had a very nice melody and it had absolutely no skips for me. I loved how beautiful the guitar sounded. it was just a beautiful album in general, which was something I wasn’t expecting from iron maiden. it was the first iron maiden album i had heard, actually, so I was very pleasantly surprised. I also loved the voice in the beginning of track 5; it gave me CHILLS. overall amazing album with no skips.

over and over—good, nice sound, nice melody and pleasant to listen to the ledge—cool upbeat song; reminds me of country music. funkier and interesting song. it sounds very nice sara—stevie’s voice is such a pleasant surprise compared to lindsey’s (yuck). not my favorite, but not bad either not that funny—funky; I dig it. it sounds like an experimental, mac demarco-esqe song sisters of the moon—BEAUTIFUL whimsical stevie nicks-y song. so pretty and whimsical beautiful child—absolute standout. favorite so far. I think the vocal delivery is outstanding and i’m sure there’s a deeper meaning to the lyrics that i’m too lazy to look up, but this is absolutely amazing. beautiful instrumental as well

1–cool track. v cool track. I wouldn’t listen to it casually, but it’s a pretty cool sound and different/more electronic than other radiohead songs I know. i feel like if I were trapped on an infinite plane, this is what would be playing as I wander around aimlessly. but the kind of plane in that old cgi simpsons episode with 3D homer. 2–yummy piano. delectable vocals by mr thom yorke. wow so pretty sounds like ok computer a lil bit. BEAUTIFUL instrumental im in love. 3–hmmm… 6–beautifully beautiful goregeous guitar beautiful sound and melody so mellow im in love 8–weird but in a cool way 11–fav track by far. brass instruments are so freaking cool I love them so much. so beautiful and a wonderful end.

beautiful. i’d known of this album because it’s just so iconic, but there’s some deep cuts on there that really stood out like “turning tables”, “don’t you remember”, and “I found a boy”. obviously the popular stuff is very catchy and she has a beautiful voice so it’s just a pretty good album overall. I had a good time listening to it.
