A somewhat frustrating album because it does have some good songs. I like "America" well enough but to be honest the entire album is held up by "Mrs. Robinson". Every other track sort of fades into obscurity. It wasn't unenjoyable, just bland.
Really good actually. My personal favorite was "Wouldn't mama be proud" but there wasn't a track that I didn't enjoy to some degree. Definitely not a lot I'm going to listen to over and over again, but I enjoyed my time with this album and was happy to give it a go.
NGL this album blows. I get it was a different time I get it's unique for its time but bleh. I like the last track on it and the rest range from ok at best to full on unpleasant. 1.5, but I'll give it a 2 for the last track.
I mean it's Coldplay, what is there to say. I think they're overhated but also overplayed. I don't dislike the album but I also don't love it. I will say I think Yellow is overrated and not even the best song on this album, but I wasn't unhappy listening to any of it, even if it tends to sounds samey.
Eh, not for me but not awful. I liked Haiti okay enough and Neighborhood 2 wasn't awful but it's just overall didn't do much for me. I probably would've liked it more with a different vocalist. 3, but closer to 2.5
What the fuck. Its just an album of total nonsense. More than half the tracks on here are something I would never even want to listen to again. Then theres human cannonball which is just casually one of the best songs I've heard since we started using this website. 2
This album is really excellent. To be fair I already loved Steely Dan but I had a lot of fun listening to this one. Closest thing to a 5 so far, but I dont know, just think 5 requires something above and beyond. But great album none the less.
2 is me being nice. It has its moments I guess, overall though its just sort of eh. It feels like music that thinks its really good but its like babies first album and it just fucking drags on and on, the male vocalist also sucks ass. 1.5
Yknow sure hes an awful person and a racist(race traitor) and stupid as a bag of rocks and sexist and a total piece of shit and garbage come to life as a human being and hangs out with trash celebrities and is actually a fucking nazi(dw he said sowwy) but damn can Kanye make a fucking album.
It sounds like the music you would hear in the background of some shitty 90s to early 2000s teen tv drama.
I really liked this a lot actually! I probably will listen to this again and to me this is the best part of this website, finding out new things I didn't know that I actually like, 4.5 easy
I like Curtis Mayfield but I don't like this album all that much, I think it's not terrible it's just not for me. It's a little slow and drags on just a bit much. Idk. Eh
Ok so it's good music but I still think it's an okay at best live album. I love cheap trick, I especially love surrender but idk. There is cool parts of this album being live, each song has some extra flair, but it just feels like it loses some of the mixing for me probably because of how and when it was recorded. 3.5, probably deserving of a 4 but eh
Its got a couple misses for me but it's hard to argue that Iron Maiden is anything besides one of the most talented bands ever. Their music oozes skill, just listening to it makes you wish you were there. 4.5 for sure but deserving of the 5 stars more than a 4 star
