Enjoyed listening to it because I was studying in the meantime, don't think I'd be able to do so if I wasn't doing something at the same time.
First track is vibe and last, although slower beat, still enjoyed it. Not a fan of the second track though.
First track was a good start to the album. Melancholic record.
I didn't properly listen to this album since I can't for the life of me listen to Bruce Springsteen. But I did like I'm on Fire.
And to my luck, Bruce Springsteen again... and how wrong I was.
Maybe his most famous album wasn't my cup of tea, which left me with a disappointed impression. But Nebraska turned out to be a refreshing discovery. Not only it made me enjoy country for 40 minutes and 47 second, but it convinced me that I ought to come out of my confort zone to discover new music. Add to that my recent discovery of how incredibly anti-Trump Springsteen is.
Love that I got this album just as I was watching Carol.
Never listened to jazz before that much, so it's nice that my first proper listen to an album was one by Duke Ellington, who's apparently a legend within the genre.
knew it was gonna be good from the cover alone
Music I'd listen to at the bar. I looked up the album online and found that it can be categorized under the genre "College rock" which is oddly on the nose.
Insanely Jealous of You is the first song that caught my attention. Honorable mentions: Where Are the Prawns,
Ngl there's a bunch of songs I'd skip, it gets a bit repetitive. But in hindsight I should've paid more attention to the lyrics, since that's what people online seem to like the most.
I think overall it wasn't my cup of tea.
Unequivocally 80's sounding. Huge highlight: A Trick of the Light.
I laughed when I got this album, because I knew I was in for a ride. I was only partially familiar with Aphex Twin and never gave myself the time to sit down and listen to them, so I'm glad I did so.
Listened to the album during my cardio workout and def made it more entertaining.
Didnt know Clint Eastwood was that good. Rock the House is also a honorable mention.
I appreciate the complexity, but some songs were just hard to sit through.
Aretha the woman you are. I really enjoyed this.
