1001 Albums Summary

One of the best albums ever. I Listened to it again with good headphones just like I did as a teenager. Loud!

Has some great radio hits, but his voice and the album seems shrill. High end intensity makes it hard to listen to.

Wonderfull. A masterpiece. It even has some 70s jazz fusion parts.

Had some good Bowie rock n roll mixed in with some experimental stuff. Also a cut that presaged the early 80s synth pop with drum machines. Never was my thing but this was as interesting listen that deserves some further time. The title track "Heros" will always be one of his best.

A great one. Some of his best hits and great deep tracks. Lots of percussion variety. Strings, horns. Lots of professional musicians got paid to be a part of this classic. All that said, the pitch of his voice can be a bit much for me by the end of the album.

From a genre I was not to familiar with. Got a psychedelic vibe, some of the songs were a kind of poppy a la Oasis. Enjoyed it.

All great sings. Perfect voice. Not a big fan of the brass blasts in that era of music. I prefer the songs with mostly string accompaniment.

One of the classics with out a doubt.
