Violator by Depeche Mode
Apr 08 2026

Rating:4.4/5 I liked this more than I thought i would. It was a ride. I didn't expect a random demon voice or a sexy ballad but it brought both. Would listen again: yes Listen if: in the mood to listen to The Postal Service for the millionth time Sound: early 90s timestamp with clear indie influences to today's artists

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Apr 09 2026

Rating: 3.8/5 Gimme that sax! Listen again?: maybe, I hear those hits enough to last me Listen if: I want to live in a John Hughes movie for 45 minutes Sound: 80s jazz club in the jungle with a keyboardist

That's The Way Of The World by Earth, Wind & Fire
Apr 10 2026

Rating: 3.5/5 I really enjoyed listening. I moved. I grooved. I don't know if it is necessarily my first choice of music, but I can appreciate it all the same.

Apr 11 2026

Rating: 3.6/5 The album artwork is great. The album started off strong. The Cisco Kid has now been added to my saved music and the title track I will come back to also. Overall, the album was very listenable, and I think I would have loved it back when it came out. I'll have to go and listen to some of their other work.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Apr 12 2026

4.2/5 One I have listened to a few times before. I love the creativity of the riffs and the play of the musicality. And, ya know, Seven Nation Army is an all-timer.
