1001 Albums Summary

It has all the ingredients of good Arctic Monkeys album (like Favourite Worst Nightmare) but they just don't fall into place for me

I am not a fan of this particular type of melancholy music, vocalist singing is so bleak on most tracks, feels like wasted potential when looking at certain tracks

Overall not my vibe, Clocks is a bop

Looking at the visuals I was pretty certain it would be metal - band name font, album title and cover - it was a funny surprise :D 7/10 Very good music for its times, enjoyable to listen to, has strong and satisfying finale, I like albums that do that. But will I comeback to it? Probably not, nothing particularly unique or grabbing my attention about it.

Sounds like The Doors but less interesting

7/10 It's ABBA! Some bangers, some less than bangers but still enjoyable.

6/10 A lot of interesting sounds. Good groove if someone likes gentle rock with trip hop elements. Unfortunately I am not that person :P

8/10 Tainted Love obviously banger, surprisingly short track, took me by surprise. Overall really good 80s party music

8/10 Excellent music if you like the feeling of dissociating and entering higher state of mind. Not my jam, but I admire the artistry

4/10 Yeah, this listen confirms it, I don't like Grunge, it either bores me or annoys me. Even the most listened track from the album (Heart-Shaped Box) was only okay for me

8/10 Great and varied instrumentals, I like that. Intriguing mix of old sounding music but composed in modern way? I am not sure if that is correct explanation. It has the potential to advance to 9/10 in the future.

7/10 Overall good playing, but nothing ground breaking for me. However, Free Bird singlehandedly elevated rating one level higher XD

5/10 My style of music listening is to ignore the lyrics, so when applied to this album it's just boring
