What an album! Every song a hit and listen worthy. If I want some inspo for pop I can go there.
The founding fathers of my art form. What caught me off guard are the guitar samples and used in the songs. The drums plus guitar combo is too clean. Since the voice is amazing but sounds super old-school it made me smile, but sometimes the lyrics kept me from feeling it really much.
I have to say I expected more. I love 1979, but anything else just didn't really speak to me. The production is amazing, and in general it's a great rock album, I guess it just didn't really speak to me.
Love it. It was more pop than I thought it could be. It can be really inspiring, and on a nice, sunny day on the beach, a very nice listen.
Love it! No skips. The only thing missing is a kind of round theme or a feeling of being caught or personally attached. One of the greatest tho for sure.
Great album. I really loved listening to it. Great melodies, really round album. I didn't quite remember something: the London Calling song I knew, and the other songs are quite like it. I have to say, though, it didn't really catch me necessarily.
