I last listened to this about 25 years ago. It’s aged better than me. Upbeat but if you listen to the lyrics there is real depth. Lou has such a distinctive voice. A great album.
A great album. Catchy but serious Rick music. Memorable stuff.
Really great rock album. Powerful guitars. A classic but still somehow sounds modern. Close your eyes and you are in a smoke filled bar in the 70s. Fantastic stuff.
You have to be in the mood for this but if you are it’s a relaxing listen. Downbeat. Not really my thing but I can tell it’s quality.
Really good blues rock album. No stand out tracks but pure quality!
Worth a four just about for the two famous stand out tracks. The rest is a nice eclectic mix and at only eight tracks it does not out s many albums.
Feels quite glam rock due to Marks distinctive voice which isn’t exactly my thing but it’s a fun album with a couple of standout tracks. Sounds quite fresh in some ways.
I love prog rock but this is a little too esoteric for my tastes. It probably improves with repeated listening. There are a couple of tracks I did enjoy and find interesting. Struggle to see the masterpiece other note on one listen.
The rock tracks are powerful. The rock hip hip tracks also. A memorable album.
Really quite enjoyed this one. Good variety. Sixties vibe in some places. Catchy tunes. Had never really heard of the Coral before!
Laid back hip hop, reminded me of US3 or Guru. Clever and smooth.
Sounds fresh... Good rock album, not too hard. Not super memorable but all nice tracks.
Great blues rock!
I used to think Joni's music was downbeat but this album is completely different. Enjoyable stuff.
Very summery, relaxing Jazz. Calming. Melodic.
Surprisingly melodic and enjoyable. I thought it would be less poppy. Good album.
Fantastic blues rock, I love LZ. Powerful guitars , drums and a great voice. I feel like I’m in a smoke filled bar listening to this. Brilliant stuff thought maybe not their best album.
Funky and cool. A fun listen in places and more like 70s background music in others. The album feels like a soundtrack (which it is) but a good one
