Some songs sound like they were the inspiration for some songs by the raconteurs. Also the voice is very unique and sounds like the singer of „surfin bird“
First, I was not amused to have to listen to this, since I knew it and considered it overrated. That change, the second I heard the first note of breathe. It felt like someone took a very heavy weight from my shoulders. Time and Money are always my faves and in the end I felt like someone massaged my brain for 40 min and like I was high.
So I guess it is correctly rated high :)
Sounds like an early morning in a small-town cafe where you get to eat home-made waffles and drink freshly brewed coffee and get to talk to the friendly cafe owner.
Feels like sunshine on your face, laughing in your ear, and the smell of coffee in your nose.
Also this is the Simon from Simon & Garfunkel. I did not know this before, always thought that these were their first names :D
This was so based, that I listend to the Kinks the whole morning. Before today I only knew Lola, and I even have them on vinyl.
Sounds like a Mixture of Stevie Nicks and Siouxie and the Banshees.
This was very different.
The metal was metal, I did not know that metal already sounded like this so long ago. Felt like Slipknot was influenced by it.
Also the noises and „tribal“ elements incorporate din the music, that was very special.
Its the Beatles, of course I like it.
But I grew up with the blue album compilation on vinyl and that just hits the spot way better.
Did not finish listening, was okay but not really my jam. Bit too slow
Mix of the Cure, Radiohead and the verve, with a hint of Muse and a little twin peaks soundtrack. Clearly sounds like the time it came out. Nothing special to me.
Sounds if the Beastie Boys and RHCP had a child. Its okay and diverse, but would not listen again.
Gave me the clash vibes. Bad to work to but fun to listen to
Yep, sounded like loosing my religion. A bit country and a bit of joy division.
Was hyped to get an album after 2000, was disappointed. I dont like him. The album was ok. Sounded like 2010. would not listen again.
This was so fun! Need this as a vinyl. Praise you is such a great song and the rest of the album perfectly works around and with it.
