1001 Albums Summary

I’m not a big smashing pumpkin fan to begin with. It kind of sounds the same throughout the album. Some good stuff but I wouldn’t listen to it with my own free will again. Some good guitar tones tho.

Song writing is not interesting. I don’t think I will ever put this on again. Creepy lyrics. I’m not sure why it’s on this jawn.

Im not an Elvis fan. Listening to this album confirms this. His voice is not enjoyable. He sounds like a different person each track. A slight positive is that this was recorded in the 1950s. I believe he got the time of day because he was white and America is historically racist. Elvis is gross and really not that good.

Definitely up my alley. I love instrumental drum/bass/piano & sampled music. Songs are a bit longer than they need to be. I was thinking they would develop more than they did. Mutual Slump is my favorite track.

Brilliant. Miles Davis is one of my favorites. I’m a big jazz person.

Classic. When I was younger I didn’t like Green Day but I love them now. Great listen always.

I love this album.

I think this album could really grow on me. I really liked it. The beginning of the album is strong.

Politically I’m with it.

I love classic country. I’m really not a fan of his voice. Never have been.

Not for me

I wasn’t paying attention and at first I thought this was some American early 2000s try hard BS. I kept listening and realized that they were German and it was the 70s and pretty innovative. I won’t lie, I think they are pretty mid musicians but I will give them credit for being creative for the recording style.
