I feel like this album is very stripped down and one of the origins of Lo-Fi. Similar to the McCartney solo record. As if they’ve just stuck a mic in the room during a rehearsal session. Very comforting to me, especially the opener - candy says. LOVE candy says - what goes on - beginning to see the light - pale blue eyes - after hours

1979 is a great song, never got further into Smashing Pumpkins. WOW! Wish I did! Songs perfectly fit a 21 year olds day to day. loving Luna - cherub rock - today

a beautiful album. i'm not a country man, and couldn't tell you a single willie nelson song coming into this, but this record is great. nelson's raw vocals and the fingerpicking patterns used with the acoustic guitar go hand in hand. and that sexy harmonica gets me going. a lot of great songs covered by nelson in this album. loving stardust - georgia on my mind - don't get around much anymore

I get intimidated listening to stevie wonder, his music is too good for my ears. talking book is incredible. right through, it’s a great experience. you and I & tuesday heartbreak are some of my favourites now.

I can see this record becoming 5 stars down the road. What a unique album. Love the violin and horn instrumentation. The whole record is so in your face, like it’s constantly making sure you’re paying attention. What a sexy live band.

Jimi Hendrix and an electric guitar, name a more iconic pair. He's got such a groove in his style. It's undefeatable. Loving ALL OF THEM. I'm not at the point where I can distinguish a single track as being my favourite.

Was having a hard time getting into this album at first, wasn’t grabbing me as much as Exile does. Had side B playing while driving across the bridge out from the Brisbane CBD today with windows down, sun out and wearing dad’s 30y.o. circular sunnies. Was having the time of my life. I can see this record growing on me. Once you become a fan of Jagger’s voice, the stones just hit different. Loving Sympathy - jigsaw puzzle - stray cat blues.
