The Bends by Radiohead
May 22 2026

Disappointing album. None of the songs stood out for me. The musicianship was fine but the songs seemed to lack creativity. For example, the distorted guitar always seem to sound the same regsrdless of the song. It made them all sound too simikar for my taste.

Unique music style with flashes of brilliance. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I found the vocals a bit weak.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels

Freddie Mercury's voice and Brian May's lead are worth the price of admission on their own! The creative musicianship are a bonus.

May 29 2026

The title gives anyone an idea what it's about, even though it's best described as excellent music for relaxation.

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Jun 01 2026

I was begging for mercy after listening to a couple of songs. It does have that 70's vibe, but only the cheesy one!

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Jun 02 2026

I don't believe this is her best album. She sounds old and tired from hard living and the songs are a bit monotonous.

Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Jun 03 2026

They were outstanding musicians but, even though I'm a big prog fan, the music in this album does not capture me at all.
