1001 Albums Summary

Not a terrible album, but indie rock is that kind of music where you cant really play it for too long, or it gets annoying. The type of music that plays on the radio, or in a department store. However, in just the right moment, ignoring the genre's connotation, this album had a great vibe. Best song: Une Annee Sans Lumiere.

Amazing!!! Really enjoyed, has a great mix of punk, folk, and classic rock, blending heavier sections (for the time) with beautiful melodic riffs. Best track: Friction

This album has a great feeling to it that just makes you want to drive around with the windows down. Its atmospheric, while still having that edge to it that youd expect from a 90s hiphop album. Best track: The Update

Electric Ladyland is an amazing foundational rock album, with influence from blues, pop, jazz, disco, and more. Jimi Hendrix is undeniably a founding father in the realm of guitar, and this album is heavily indicative of that. Best track: Still Raining, Still Dreaming.

An amazing jazz album and an even better funk album. Blending those genres together is not unheard of, however The Crusaders executed it perfectly. The album has sensational basslines and a jumpy feeling that would be perfect for mornings or mellow evenings. Best track: Street Life

Great bouncy feeling. Relatively new to psych/baroque pop but this album was a great introduction to it, with a great arrangement of instruments and catchy melody. favorite track so far: Beechwood Park Gorgeous album art.
