Dummy by Portishead
Jun 08 2026

Fantastic album, well recorded and with no filler songs, all good all the way through.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Jun 10 2026

It's a great album which needs time to unfold properly. The sort of album you can really dig into and do some research on. I still think there's much more to be had from this album for me and one that I will come back to in the future.

Odelay by Beck
Jun 12 2026

I do like Beck as an artist but not this album. Just not for me. It sounded a bit frivolous to me. It's a well made record but just not to my taste.

Jun 13 2026

It’s not of Muse’s best albums but is still good. The one big let down for me is the recording sound quality which is too loud and sounds shouty. It’s music that demands being played loud but when it has been recorded too loud all you want to do is turn it down.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Jun 14 2026

Not to my taste. Some of the music is great but the vocals made it more a comedy album.

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Jun 16 2026

I was introduced to Led Zeppelin through this album, about 30 years ago. It's always been my favourite album of theirs.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
Jun 18 2026

Never quite got what all the fuss was about with this album. Yes, it's good but I don't think it's brilliant.

Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
Jun 19 2026

Never heard of this band before. Quite enjoyed it but don't think I will revisit.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Jun 20 2026

Love cat Stevens and this album in particular is great. Sounds good too!

So by Peter Gabriel
Jun 27 2026
Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Jul 04 2026

Wasn't expecting to like this one as I thought it'd be another jazz album but this is actually quite interesting and with good sound quality too.
